Just reworking and updating the site. I've corresponded with Andy Linn who has built a Harley 8 and was kind enough to share some more insights. I think his most telling comment was "It has taken me a while, but I have discovered that boats need to be of some size to be practical. Too small and you are just a hole in the water - and it takes a lot of power to move that hole." Good thing we're not trying to be practical here! But in all seriousness this flight of fancy of mine is to simply build a boat. And move on to some bigger and better things. But I'll keep that in mind as I begin my work.
